We are living in a world where we all are so desperately seeking for attention, popularity and fame. And in process to achieve that, we have stopped becoming original but following people to gain attention. We are following the latest trend and fashion even if we are uncomfortable in it. We are following our friends, colleagues to compete in a race or to stand out from the rest. We are following this race every where from our real world to the virtual world like on Facebook, Twitter, Snap chat and Instagram. In today's world of internet, it has become so easy for us to peek in to other person's life and then we are trying to imitate them or to become better than them. We are so filled with jealousy, competition that we are not living a life but running a race to win.
I am not sure what are we competing for and what are we gaining from it? Why are we copying others? Why are we following what every one else is doing? Where is our own individuality? What is that which is our original? When we have been given our own comfort level, our own originality and our own brain then why aren't we using them? Why are we just trying to be cool or hot? Why can't we just stay as a normal human being!
It's high time that we understand that life is not a race where we have to win from others. Let's just stop running and start enjoying our own originality. Let's fall in love with our own self the way we are.
